Who should attend?
This course is designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid. This one-day course complies with the requirement set by Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
It is especially suited for nominated first aides in smaller, low risk working environments, such as small offices. The course covers first aid protocols for adult casualties only.
Candidates need a basic command of English (defined as level 2. While we are often able to provide support to people who do not have English as a first language. We may be able to make special arrangements if requested in advance. Please contact us if you need any guidance.

Eligibility
To be eligible for an Emergency First Aid at Work, you need to be at least 16 years old and have relatively good at speaking and writing in English language.
Certificate Renewal
To renew your Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate once it has expired after 3 years, you will need to take Refresher training. EFAW Refresher Training takes 1 days (as opposed to First Aid at Work which is 3 days).
