Eligibility
- To be eligible for an SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
- you must be 18+ have the right to work in the UK.
- You must have a Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work and the Door Supervisor Course.
- Upon completion you will also have to pass identity and criminal background checks conducted by the SIA.
Examination
The course consists of 4 multiple choice exams and 3 practical exams. These are held on the last day
and will test your knowledge on the content taught during the course.
Licensing Information
For some licenses, the SIA permits individuals who meet one licensing criteria to carry out
related license able activities. Individuals who have a Door Supervisor Licence can work as Security
Guards and key holders. Also, if you hold a Close Protection License, the SIA allows you to use your
license to work as a Door Supervisor.
